BIA Benedict XVI Institute for Africa

Grants

Benedict XVI Institute for Africa is joyful to award our first two grants to the following candidates who have demonstrated excellence in aptitude and fidelity to the Church of Christ.

The Priest: Minister of Christ’s Love, in Benedict XVI’s Theology

I am a seminarian in Paul VI major seminary, Douala, currently undergoing my fourth year of undergraduate theological studies. My love for Benedict XVI’s (Joseph Ratzinger’s) theology led me to focus my thesis, The Priest: Minister of Christ’s Love, in Benedict XVI’s Theology, research on him. This grant from your institute will go a long way to help in my research on Benedict XVI in general and my topic in particular.

Seminarian Zifac Leonard Nyuydze, Paul VI Major Seminary, Cameroon

Thesis: Liturgy as a Gift in the Teaching of Pope Benedict XVI

The topic of my thesis is The Liturgy as a Gift in the Teaching of Pope Benedict XVI. So far, I have been able to lay hands on some of the Books in our Library with regard to the topic but I have difficulty because the Books available cannot offer me substantial material for a fruitful and successful Dissertation write up. Due to the above, I wish that you could assist me more so that it can facilitate the writing of the Dissertation.
